A Landmark Achievement for RF Corval and the Sydney Airport Precinct

As Australia’s inaugural Moxy hotel, operated by Marriott, it sets a new standard in the Sydney Airport precinct and redefines the guest experience with its fun and bold design. The joint venture development was undertaken by RF Corval and KS Hotels & Resorts, and was delivered under budget despite several complexities and challenges faced during design, planning and development period.

The Award-Winning Development

The HICAP ANZ awards, announced on 30 August 2024, at the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour in Sydney, NSW, Australia, recognised Moxy Sydney Airport as a standout among its peers. The hotel’s unique design and comprehensive amenities—including flexible function and meeting spaces, a guest laundry, gymnasium, and multiple F&B/lounge areas—contribute to its status as a premier destination in the area.

Architecture by Group GSA and designed by MAED Collective, the 13-storey hotel features rooms ranging from 18 to 26 square metres, catering to a diverse range of guests. Since opening in August 2023, Moxy Sydney Airport has quickly become a favourite among travellers, offering both style and substance in an ultra-convenient location.

This award is a source of great pride for RF Corval, and we are incredibly grateful for the collaboration with KS Hotels & Resorts, whose partnership was integral to the success of this project.
